Simon Willison 连发了 4 篇关于 agentic engineering 的文章（“How coding agents work”、“What is agentic engineering”、“Coding agents for data analysis”、Codex subagents），Martin Fowler 转发了 Annie Vella 的研究发现工程师从「创作导向」转向「验证导向」。The New Stack 直接点题：“Agents write code. They don’t do software engineering.” 这三个人同一天讲同一件事，说明社区已经形成了共识——agent 能生成代码，但距离软件工程的可维护性、可测试性、可追溯性还有鸿沟。

  1. Agent 代码质量的度量：今天有人发了 preflight（PyTorch 预训练验证工具），就是因为 label leakage 导致 3 天训练白费。这种「AI 工程中的沉默失败」恰好是 agent 生成代码的典型问题——不出错，但结果是垃圾。如果你能用你的工作量评估方法学（SLOC、迭代次数）结合代码质量指标（bug rate、revert rate），研究 agent 生成代码的「真实工程代价」，这是个很硬的 SE 论文方向。

  2. 供应链安全的新风险：Mistral Small 4 开源发布（Apache 2, 119B MoE），Vercel 推出了 LiteLLM 集成，DoorDash 发了 DashCLIP 用 32M 标签做语义搜索——这些都是把外部模型直接拉进生产环境。与此同时 Cloudflare Analytics 全面宕机、Claude.ai 一天出了三起事故（其中一起只影响免费用户）。模型依赖和基础设施依赖都在加剧，但量化分析框架还很缺。

  3. 值得关注的工具：ExecuTorch（PyTorch 官方的跨设备推理平台，支持语音 agent）、GraphZero（C++ 零拷贝图引擎，解决 PyG OOM 问题）、VulnParse-Pin（漏洞情报优先级引擎）。这三个都跟你做 PyTorch 生态分析的工具链有直接关系。

建议：短期关注 coding agent 的实际产出质量数据，这会是你做 SE4AI 论文的天然素材——agent 生成代码的测试覆盖率、bug 分布、维护成本这些度量问题，比「用 AI 做软件工程」更贴近你的核心方向。长期看，「AI 工程」这个子领域正在成形，你的工作量评估 + 供应链分析方法论正好卡位。
